Andrej is a founder and the CEO of PharmaHemp. With his visionary mind, he established and positioned the PharmaHemp company at the forefront of the rapidly growing phytocannabinoid market.

Marjeta joined PharmaHemp in 2018. She incorporates the knowledge from her studies and working experiences into compliance with global legal requirements and project proposals related to safety and effects of cannabinoids.

With the longest working experience at Pharmahemp, Tina is in charge of the administrative and purchasing policy of the company. She is also responsible for information-technology system and human-resources management.

A materials expert and passionate about innovative technology Boštjan has nearly 20 years of experience in the field of chemistry and material science. At PharmaHemp he is responsible for technological processes, analytical laboratory and R&D operations.

With great experience in managing departments in automotive industry, Gregors’ direct management and responsibility over the manufacturing processes in PharmaHemp, support the ambitious plans for international development of our company.
CHIEF QUALITY OFFICER
Tine is expert in development and implementation processes related to a Quality Management System and GxP practices. He’s known for quality excellence gained during 15 years of work experience at the Slovenian Institute of Quality and Metrology.
SCIENTIFIC ADVISER
He is a Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy Professor Emeritus at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Ljubljana. His research is focused on different drug delivery systems. He used to serve as expert for the European Medicines Agency (EMA). At PharmaHemp he is involved in the scientific issues and R&D activities of different products with natural cannabinoids.

Our story began as a small family business with a cosmetic company Pharmachem, the first of its kind in the former Yugoslavia in 1965. Three decades later, in 1997, we introduced pioneering line of body care products enriched with hemp terpenes. It was the beginning of the Extravaganja line, which is still available to our loyal customers.
In 2012, we produced one of the first hemp extracts in Europe. Soon after, in 2014, we focused completely on the production of a variety of personal care and cosmetic CBD based products. And 2015 is an important milestone for PharmaHemp – we launch 5% CBD drops in olive oil.
We immediately realised the importance of quality control, which must be fast and reliable. Therefore, we established an in-house laboratory PharmaHemp Laboratories in 2016.
Our R&D laboratory for custom formulations and stability studies was established in 2019.
In 2019 and 2020 we also successfully registered our trade marks (PharmaHemp™, PharmaHemp Laboratories™, Dr. Kent™, Mikka™, Cosmo Hemp’s™ and RUN CBD™). In addition, this was also the time when we received GMP certificates related to the production of cosmetic products.
In 2020 we introduced a new design of our mostly sold product – CBD drops with a child lock function.
Our PharmaHemp Laboratories™ is also accredited since 2020. And we successfully passed a two-days audit by US FDA with “no further action needed”.
2021 was another important year in terms of certifications – we received GMP certification for the production of food supplements and received the ISO 22000, ISO 9001 and HACCP certificates.
Our plan to move towards pharmaceutical industry and production of medical-cannabis derived products became reality in 2022. We are building a new API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) facility which is planned to start running in 2024.
